Seven of us arrived for dinner and sat outside on the patio, which is just a pleasure. Service is always wonderful and attentive. Food is very good and authentic. Several drinks, of course made it around the table. There was a prickly pear margarita that was sweet and satisfying We did call ahead for reservation since it was a Sunday evening, and that was helpful because the patio fills up quickly. A little outside of the city of Gainesville.

Nopal is an interesting twist on your normal Mexican restaurant. All the dishes are elevated versions of the classics in addition to custom creations of their own. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant offers inside and outside dining experiences. The outside dining is perfect for those fall months here in Florida. The chorizo burrito and street tacos were delicious! And we will have to come when we have room for dessert!

This place has great food, pleasant servers and nice environment. It is tucked away, and I like sitting on the patio. The Brussel sprouts are amazing! As is the Beyond Burger. Recommend!

The food is great. I ordered the Pork Belly Tacos and a Swamp Head Big Nose. I couldn't eat it all. Service is excellent. The staff is friendly. The food was up much quicker than I expected, granted it's 2pm, and not too busy, but still.... I left a pic for atmosphere. It's 100%. Fall weather, outside, food. How can I give less than a perfect review?

This little gem of a restaurant is tucked back a bit in a small plaza. But so cute. Great atmosphere. Casual dining, Family friendly. One bar inside and one on the patio. The patio is beautiful and spacious, with a nice view over a creek on one side. The bar has two TV's up. They have heaters on the patio, You could still enjoy dining alfresco even if it's chilly out. Our server, Karla was superb! Everything was delicious! Other than Cintron, this is a new favorite!

Came in Saturday night with my family and the food was delicious. To anyone claiming they were not busy must not have sat on the patio. Every table was full! For the customer to server's ratio, I think the team did great to stay on top of things. Shoutout to the bartender, he made yummy drinks! Will definitely be back for more and the churro sundae :) Well done nopal

Wow wow wow! The flavors are amazing. This is not your typical restaurant. You can tell the chef loves what he does. Tonight we had the specials....all three! Crab stuffed avocado, scallops over risotto and short rib over mashed potato .... All with a Mexican flare and delicious flavor profile. And the bartender makes fresh drinks, with real ingredients. Our new favorite place!

We were greeted as soon as we walked through the doors and immediately seated. There were so many tasty choices on the menu, it was hard to choose. We ordered the avocado egg rolls, Huarache Nopal, Pollo Burrito, chocolate ice cream, and last but not least the corn creme brule. Everything was delicious! The food came out quickly. Our server, Alejandro was friendly and helpful. Can’t wait go back and try more of their wonderful creations!
